La signora delle salamandre. Può capitare di vedere nella propria casa, sul soffitto, in un'angolo del bagno, dietro gli scuri della finestra... una salamandra. Federico II Gonzaga nella prima metà del cinquecento si fece costruire a Mantova Palazzo TE e vi fece dipingere tante piccole salamandre negli angoli, sui muri, tra le porte. Palazzo TE serviva ad ricevere ospiti illustri ma era soprattutto il luogo dove si incontrava con la sua amatissima amante Isabella Boschetti. La salamandra era Isabella, fuoco quando era con lui, freddo e ghiaccio quando era assente. Quanti di noi custodiscono una salamandra?
